He married Veronica Jewel Hestioan. Emma’s father later died of unknown reasons, leaving Emma with her Step-mother. Emma and Her step-mother get along well. Emma considers her a real mother instead of a step one, she wants to know nothing of the mother who left her. Now Emma is coming up on her fourteenth birthday, who knows what will happen.

When she was twelve months old she was adopted by her Mom and Mama. Her Mom is a police officer and her Mama stays at home to take care of the house and her three year old brother. Charlotte is more often than not a lone wolf, her motto is, “if you can’t do it by yourself then you shouldn’t do it at all”. She has quite the vocabulary and never pretends to be smarter than she is. To her, knowledge is power.

'Ello there! I admit I haven't done a review in a while, so please forgive my rust.
Character sections like these are always hit or miss. If it's all thought out and detailed, I don't really mind it much. If it's short and simple, it doesn't capture the characters any better than writing them into the story would. My views on this are extremely subjective; another person could love this way of developing characters, but it's not my cup of tea.
This one isn't bad. It doesn't explain your characters in detail though. When I think of something titled "Get To Know the Characters" I think of height, weight, eye color, etc. Although, if that will be written into your story, not a bad plan, but without that knowledge this can't stand alone. In my own opinion, a character sheet should be understandable, even without reading the story beforehand.

This is Eros here with a review for this beautiful first chapter of your neww novel. OI really liked how you have started with the introduction to characters---- i mean, two main characters of the story, first, Emma Rose Hayden and second, Charlotte Poppy Watts. Both of the characters have had a deep history with their biological parents.
Emma has also a nickname, Em's. It is a really sweet nickname!!❤❤
So, Emma's or Em's mother left her with her dad when the girl was just 2 year old, and her dad remarries a good woman 5 years later when she turned 7. But then Emma's dad dies due to unknown reasons, and now Emma lives alone with her step mother, Veronica Jewel Hestioan, and both of them get along well with each other, which is awesome!❤❤
And now we move on to the next character of the novel, named, Charlotte... Charlotte Poppy Watts. When she was 12 months old--(or, 1 year old, man, that's so littlee!!!), she was adopted by a Police Officer lady, named, Linda...that is Linda Kate Deruna and also a Mama, who is more like a babysitter for her and her 3 year old brother. Charlotte, is now new to the school and a fast friend of Emma.
